Believe me, I have.
Last evening we headed to our little town plaza for some live music, a local band operating somewhere in the space between blue grass and the Grateful Dead. They got the locals doing their frenetic dancing:
And of course any Band worth it's salt needs it's own vintage bus:
And who could be surprised by the old guy with his mules and wagon doing laps around the Plaza:Check out the chihuahua on the back of that mule!
As you can imagine, this sort of goof ball eclecticism is one of the major appeals of this place to Mistress and Slave, as compared to the button down tedium of the heartland. Hopefully we end up spending much more of our time here in the not too distant future.
When I wandered back from taking photos Mistress noted that in my absence "some tall hippie tried to hit on me, Slave."
"Was he cute?"
"Not exactly.... unless you consider a guy who looked like he hadn't showered in a week cute."
"He probably saw you as a win / win, Mistress. You're hot, plus you look like you have access to a hot shower."
Sad times for your readers as well. It has been fun reading about your adventures in the west, along with a few fun sneak peeks of the local fauna.....and Mistress too. :-) Thank you for sharing the fun for those of us still stuck in the Midwest.
ReplyDeleteThanks Penney. Stop by and see us in River City someday. we'll give you the tour!
