Mistress in the Saddle?

Mistress and slave are enjoying a few days of empty nesting between visits by our cute daughters, aka, the Dommes in Training.

Last weekend we hosted our older daughter and her earnest fiancee. They were pleasant and relatively unobtrusive house guests, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather and slushy snow up on our mountain. Although Mistress style was cramped a bit.

"I guess I won't be strutting around in my undies, slave....."

No. But once they were gone, Mistress was back to normal, spending yesterday afternoon apres ski out in our patio in the nude, working on those tan lines.

But Mistress's liberation won't last much longer. On Friday afternoon we head back to the airport to collect our younger daughter, who will be spending our last two weeks here with us. And while that should not cramp our sexual style behind our closed bedroom door, it will cut into Mistress's nude sunbathing.

The good news is that we are settling into the notion of spending the majority of our time out here, rather than back in River City, where things always seem darker and more harried. If we make that transition, we have other options to consider. Mistress has cats back in River City, which will need to be moved, but she also has other ambitions.

"I would love to have a horse, or two, slave....."

I was mentally making the calculation of the cost and hassle of caring for a horse..... all that hay, grooming and making sure our fences were tip top. Ugh!
But I have to admit, Mistress would look even more authoritative on horseback."

If we spend more time out here, and to help grow the alfalfa required to feed that horse, I suppose we could begin cultivating our land out here. If that's the case, Mistress might want to consider whether her "pampered house slave", at my advanced age, would be adequate when it comes to handling some of the additional work required to prepare our field, irrigate, plant and harvest.  Maybe she may be required to take on some additional help?

As Always,  our readers will be the first to know if and when Mistress decides to fill any field slave positions!

On the Road Again

Mistress and Slave rose in the pre-dawn hours this morning to get an early start on our long trek back to River City. Slave, who is always mindful of conserving water in the arid West, stepped out onto our front patio to "take a leak". The setting full moon was breathtaking. But I was surprised to share it with a mini-herd of 5 horses, out enjoying the bounty of our overgrown yard.

We had avoided mowing our property this season, based on reports that prairie dogs don't like high grass, which can make it harder to spot predators. The result was a "fields of gold" look with some green interspersed. It's been a relatively wet spring and early summer, so it's shaggy. And the prairie dogs have clearly steered clear. But I suppose I did not anticipate that a field of overgrown alfalfa and grass might attract larger mammals.

When we drove off into the sun rise, the horses were still there. Hopefully, the owner who must have left his gate open last night will find them sooner or later.

Now we are cruising across the hot and flat environs or Western Kansas. The excitement of the morning eliminated any chance of our traditional wake-up sex. But I suspect once we hit Missouri, Slave will be more than ready to respond if Mistress says "Show Me!".
